PHOTOS FROM THE LAST DECADE

The last decade has been an interesting one. There were many ups and downs.

I decided to share some photos made in the last decade. There are some years for which I could not find any photos as I do not have access to photos from older from laptops and photo albums.

I invite you grab a cup of tea or coffee and enjoy the journey. 😊

This first photo I want to share with you was made in September 2011, at Kroller-Muller Museum in Otterlo, The Netherlands. I was resting and checking some art brochures and albums in the photo. The museum includes the second largest collection of Van Gogh masterpieces, with paintings such as Café Terrace at Night, The Potato Eaters and Country Road in Provence by Night. It also exposes paintings by other famous painters, such as Georges Seurat, Jean Metzinger, Pablo Picasso, Odilon Redon, Georges Braque and others. The museum is also well-known for its beautiful and large sculpture garden.

The second photo I want to share with you was made in September 2012, in Deventer, The Netherlands. Me and my colleagues from Saxion University went to visit the city hall in Deventer. We also had a guided tour of the city hall, of the historical center of Deventer and then we went to an art exhibition in Bergkerk, a church close to the city hall.

The third photo was made while attending One World Jam, in Deventer, The Netherlands, on the 31st of March 2013.

One World Jam is a project organized by Mr. Henk van Glabbeek, where people from different cultures meet and play music together. I used to attend it quite often while studying in The Netherlands. It was a lot of fun seeing musicians and amateurs playing various musical instruments, both traditional and modern and bringing to life their own version of famous songs.

The fourth was taken in Ghent, Belgium on the 20th of September 2013. I went to visit the city with my sister and a friend. I really liked the piano and the colorful strips, and I decided to include them in the photo. Many thanks to my sister, who immortalized the moment. 😊

The fifth was taken on the 30th of September 2013 in Oberlangen, Germany. It was the second time I rode a horse. On that day I learned how to brush a horse, how to put the saddle on it and how to ride it

Horses are my favorite pets. As a child, most of my drawings were of horses. I enjoy feeding and pat them even nowadays. I sometimes visit the horses living close to my workplace.

The sixth photo was taken on the 18th of May 2014, in Gherla, Romania. I was celebrating 10 years since high school graduation. It was emotional to meet ex-high school teachers and mates. Moreover, the banquet was a lot of fun. I wore an Indian salwar kameez. This kind of clothes are usually worn with scarf. I could not decide what scarf to wear, so I went without one. The beads and sequins are manually applied. I am doing the thing I like most in the photo: dancing.

The seventh photo was made in the spring of 2015, in the Łagiewnicki Forest Nature Reserve, near Łodz, Poland. It was my favourite place to go for a walk during the weekend. The photo was taken by a dear friend of mine and ex-colleague from Infosys. The coat is made of organic cotton and crafted in Lodz.

The eighth photo was taken on the 11th of February 2016, in Moieciu de Jos, Romania, while attending the NEURO-LINGUISTIC PROGRAMMING, TIME LINE THERAPY™, HYPNOSIS AND COACHING PRACTITIONER course, organized by Crafting Minds. It was a lifechanging experience. I enjoyed this course more than all the subjects studied at university. My favorite day of the course was the one in which we were taught hypnosis.

I was doing an exercise with another participant in this photo. Many thanks to Camelia Paduraru from Crafting Minds and the other participants for these wonderful memories.

The ninth photo was made on the 22nd of July 2016, at Katčin ateliér „Dílna Raduha” in Prague, Czech Republic, while attending a workshop in which we created Russian dolls. We created two dolls: a small one, which we can wear as necklace, for instance, and a large one, which we can keep as decoration. I still have both dolls. One of them I am wearing as necklace occasionally. The workshop was organized by Youth Included, an NGO from Prague.

The tenth photo was made at Mindvalley U in Tallinn, Estonia, in July 2018. I was blessed to spend two weeks in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, and attend workshops organized by Mindvalley on various topics, such as meditation, hypnosis, personal development etc. and two amazing parties. ANA’S MAGIC WORLD is a project launched using skills gained during this event. In addition to ANA’S MAGIC WORLD, I also started meditating regularly after this amazing gathering.

The eleventh photo was made on the 8th of March 2019, in Gherla, Romania, while walking on the dam. I was celebrating two things on that day: Women’s Day and the fact that Emily Fletcher’s “Stress Less, Accomplish More: Meditation for Extraordinary Performance” book was in top 10 Amazon in February 2019. Meditation is a tool I have integrated in my routine in 2018 and Emily Fletcher’s book provides insight into this amazing daily practice. As Global Ambassador, I had the opportunity to learn using the main social media platforms, have fun and switch career to online marketing. Thank you very much Emily Fletcher, Ziva Meditation and Stress Less Ambassadors for this amazing opportunity.

The twelfth photo was made on the 13th of February 2017 in Deventer, The Netherlands. I went to Viorica Cernica’s studio just to accompany a friend and my sister and I ended up posing as well. 😊

I was wearing no make-up, but Viorica still managed to make an amazing photo. 😊

The thirteenth photo is from Uddeholm, Sweden. It was made on the 5th of October 2020. The bird cage is located close to the warehouse of the company where I am working, Global Asset Sweden AB. I really liked the shape of the wrought iron bird cage, so I decided to pose in it. I remember there was a sunny autumn day. Me and a colleague of mine decided to walk home through the forest (the distance we walked was of approximately 6 km). It was totally worth it. 😊

I hope that you enjoyed the photographic journey through my last decade. It was definitely a lot of fun for me to collect all these beautiful photos and to relive these amazing memories.

I am planning to share twenty photos from the last twenty years at the end of 2021. Stay tuned for that. 😊
