HOW I BECAME A VIDA DESIGNER



I heard about VIDA for the first time at the end of 2016. It is a free platform used for designing clothes, accessories and decorations. You can check the VIDA story here:



I created a free account at the end of 2016. I didn’t do anything for more than two years due to the fact that I could not find my old drawings and was unable to make new ones.

I gathered some drawings made in childhood and old photos and applied them on clothes, scarves and decorations in February 2019. Moreover, I started making photos with my phone and apply those photos on products once I finished using those old drawings and photos. I enjoy this creative activity and the easiness of use of the VIDA platform a lot. I could basically spend 24 hours out of 24 hours doing this activity without getting tired. 😊



I am currently having more than 3000 products in my VIDA online store, which I am sharing on social media platforms. I am also creating Youtube videos to showcase my work. I inspire myself from the places I visit, the paintings I see in museums and the books I read.

I celebrated one year as VIDA designer in February 2020. I made a Youtube video with my designs worn by models to celebrate that occasion. You can see it here:

Lockdown has been a quite productive period for me. I have made the first drawings after approximately 21 years and have been creating a lot of videos for old collections. I have also made photos on my way to the supermarket or during short walks, which can be used for further collections. Moreover, I started using Canva for logo creation and social media posts.

I am currently taking part in a start-up competition called Entrepreneurship World Cup. I am spending these days working on the business plan of ANA’S MAGIC WORLD, my upcoming startup and expanding my knowledge of online marketing.

SEARCHING FOR A JOB IN HUNGARY

  Hungary is a European country that hired me. The selection process is usually fast, of approximately two weeks. I advise to check the website of the company with which you are interviewing, a YouTube presentation, the job description and to prepare a list of 5-8 questions, to show your interest in the company and the role. You can check the LinkedIn profiles of the interviewers, to have an idea on their expertise. An important step for your preparation is checking salary reports, available online for free. You can download them on your computer and read them. You need to check the industry for which you are applying and the number of years of experience. You can mention a salary range according to the salary report during the interview. If you are interviewing online, you can add sticking notes with important things about the company and the role to your screen and use them if you can’t remember. 2023 IN REVIEW

2023 has been by far the strangest and the most difficult. I travelled to The Netherlands, Belgium, Bulgaria, Sweden, Slovakia and Romania in a quest to create content to share with you and find a job. It was fun trying new dishes and seeing amazing places. The company which I was working, Movate, got bankrupt in spring and I spent the rest of the year doing tests and interviewing. No company wanted to hire me in the long run, so I find myself at the end of 2024 jobless although I sent more than 5000 applications. Consequently, I decided to spend maximum 3 months interviewing for all job markets next year as I prefer to help people with my blog posts. If I am not hired within 3 months in a country, I will cease making effort in the respective there and switch to a new country. My decision is to remove 6 countries from Europe in 2024 as it takes too much effort to receive an offer there based on past interviewing experience.
